NIOS Board - National Institute of Open Schooling
- It operates study centers in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Nepal, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States of America for non-resident Indians.
- Furthermore, NIOS administers intermediate and senior secondary examinations, equivalent to CBSE and CISCE boards. NIOS also provides D.EL.ED and vocational courses. AAS Vidyalaya provides NIOS Board Study material and there are numerous courses available.
- The public exams for the National Institute of Open Schooling are held twice a year, in April-May and October-November. - Admissions to NIOS are held twice a year, usually in April-May (Block 1) and October-November (Block 2). (Block 2). Interested candidates must, however, enroll as soon as possible; late enrollment may result in late fines.
